Using LDAP
This page introduces the "Integration with External Systems via LDAP" among the Site Customizers.
LDAP Linkage Flow
Directory services that support LDAP v3 (OpenLDAP, Active Directory, etc.) can be used as user authentication methods.
With LDAP authentication, you can not only authenticate users, but also manage users in conjunction with directory services.
What is an LDAP Server?
LDAP servers are servers that provide directory service functions such as Active Directory, which centrally manages information about network users (personal names, department names, e-mail addresses, etc.) and devices connected to the network in a database.
For customers who have implemented user management using an LDAP server, the directory service function links user information with e-mail addresses, eliminating the need to register or update e-mail addresses in learningBOX.
