Assigning roles allows an Admin to delegate and share tasks within learningBOX.
*Management roles can be assigned in bulk via CSV.

Management role of Group manager (Edit\/View) + Co-admin<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Management roles can be assigned to an entire group. This allows you to assign roles to multiple group memebers in bulk.

01. Go to Manage users<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click \"Manage users\" in the side menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each role is represented by a unique icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Group manager<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Content manager<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. Content manager (Assign)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Email template manager<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Notification manager<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Message manager<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Other permissions<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can assign the management roles as mentioned above.
    The following section explains the details and configuration steps for each role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Segment settigngs<\/a> enable to display specific courses to learners based on the context. When the toggle key on the setting page is enabled, the following management roles can be assigned in addition to the default settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u30fb Content manager
    \u30fb Grade manager
    \u30fb Content manager (Assign)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    *If a single course is assigned to multiple segments (excluding the default segment), you must have the corresponding segment-specific Management roles <\/a>for all of those segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    e.g.) If Course A is registered under both Segment A and Segment B, the user must have permissions for both Segment A and Segment B to manage it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Group manager<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    This role allows users to manage users and groups on the Manage users page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Manage users page, click the group icon for the user you want to assign the role to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Select a group and choose either Edit or View permissions.
    You can add more group permissions by clicking \"+ Add role.\"
    To remove a configuration line, click the X button.
    Click Save<\/b> to finalize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Content manager<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Content managers (Edit) can add, edit, and manage content on the Manage contents page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Click the folder icon next to the target user on the Manage users page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If permission assignment per segment is enabled in the Segment settings, the window will be split into two tabs: \"Standard\" and \"Per segment.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can assign permissions on a course-by-course or folder-by-folder basis.
    Select a course or folder from the dropdown menu, and choose either Edit or View permissions.
    You can add more roles by clicking on \"+Add role.\"
    To remove a configuration line, click the X button.
    Click Save<\/b> to finalize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    [Per segment<\/strong>]<\/strong>
    You can assign permissions on a segment-by-segment basis.
    Select a segment from the drop-down menu, then choose either Edit or View.
    Aside from the segment selection, the basic operations remain the same as Standard settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Grade manager<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    This role allows users to manage learner performance data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Click on the graph icon next to the target user on the Manage users page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If permission assignment per segment is enabled in the Segment settings, the window will be split into two tabs: \"Standard\" and \"Per segment.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can assign permissions at the group, course, or folder level.
    Select a target group and the corresponding course\/folder from the dropdown menus.

    The following four types of permissions are selectable.
    \u30fb Edit: Grade submissions and manage all grades.
    \u30fb View: View learners' grades (read-only).
    \u30fb Grade: Grade submissions only.
    \u30fb Grade manager (Approval): Approve submissions before they are finalized and returned to learners via the     Grading workflow<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can add more roles by clicking on \"+Add role.\"
    To remove a configuration line, click the X button.
    Click Save<\/b> to finalize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    [Per segment<\/strong>]
    You can assign permissions on a segment-by-segment and group-by-group basis.

    The Content manager (Assign) role must be assigned alongside either the Group manager or Content manager role.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
